ScoAthletes is an Instagram account run by a few others and me that covers everything to do with Masco sports and has amassed a huge following. We post game day graphics, player, teacher, and student interviews, clips from the games, and hype videos for our big games. After every football game, I would do a “Player of the Game” interview.

This account has changed Masco sports for the better and has gotten the school much more coverage with many videographers and writers reaching out about games. As seen in the screenshot, there have been 245,300 viewers in the last 30 days.

Two partners and I created ScoGameDay as a student-run sports media platform designed to centralize coverage of Masconomet athletics. We built and manage a full website that provides real-time scores, schedules, articles, photo galleries, and livestream access for the school community. Beyond content, ScoGameDay operates as a small local business registered with the Town of Middleton and generates profit by partnering directly with local companies seeking targeted exposure to families, students, and fans. Since being established, we have generated over $5,000 in revenue by going business to business, pitching our idea, and offering website advertisements that allow businesses to reach a highly engaged local audience while supporting high school athletics.
